A third 1st generation jet has been started. The Mirage IV has been on my mind for a while now and the group build give me the incentive to make one.

The Mystere parts are sanded and will be glued shortly followed by priming and final sanding.

My response. Pine wings and basswood fuselage. Not my favorite way to go. I usually use just one kind of wood for a model.

Mystere IV - Grey primer is being sanded prior to final assembly.

Silver paint applied to the Mystere IV. I will lel it cure few days before masking the canopy and decals.

Decals for the Mystere IV are printed and await a few hours drying time. I frequently make extra for convenience sake. In this case the blue flashed will be doubled up and may even tripled up as they are printed on clear film.
