Latest project has major components block shaped and the fuselage pod roughly shaped awaiting the weapon sponsons. I seem to recall Dave had made one in 1/48 scale.

PS Photos by week's end.

Looks great.

The Bronco has been on the list for a while.

I had dreams of making a 1/32 model to go with my O-2 Skymaster but decided to do a 1/72 quicky before year's end.

Photo 1 The fuselage is just pressure fitted to the wing assembly.
Photo 2 First time in the paint shop for priming/sealing.
Photo 3 The fuselage is again just pressure fitted to the wing assembly.

Wing fuselage joint is set, puttied and sanded. I added the top blister and will sand and prime today. I hope to start painting by tomorrow. She will be USAF aircraft grey and will carry no armament.

The Bronco is on my list to do along with a Bird Dog and an 0-2  . RAAF pilots flew all 3 at various times in Vietnam.

The Australian War Memorial has got on from the Phillipines that they are restoring at the moment.

Hopefully the link works.

Cheers

Thank for the link. I incorrectly assumed that the aircraft was ADC Grey and that the entire aircraft was painted as such. I need to do more research!

OV-10A completed ahead of schedule. Model Master paints over Krylon primer. Decals are left over 1/72 F-101C with home made ejection warning triangle and tail markings are home made. The serial number was chosen because it does not carry the large black areas behind the exhaust. A pleasant build with no problems.

Comparison between the Convair Charger and the Bronco and the OV-10A new home.

Lou

P.S. The Convair Charger is a cook up post with Rafa from Venezuela.

Looks great Lou, interesting to see comparison with the Charger. Regards Paul J.

Thank you Paul. I was surprised when I placed them next to each other.

Thank you Gordon. I still feel the need for a 1/32 sometime down the road.
