Excellent model. Give us the details on material used and the process for attaining such marvelous gems.

Not much to tell. They're all basswood from my local lumber store. Props are basswood and/or walnut. Wheels turned on a Dremel from a small sheet of ebony I bought at a woodworking show. Paint is water-based acrylic from Micro-Mark, and hobbycraft enamel from Michaels', the chain craft store. Decals are homemade on my computer and inkjet and new laserjet printers, with a few odds and ends saved from old kit models. Brass bits -- gun barrels, etc. -- are from one of those grab-bags of scrap brass and aluminum tubing Micro-Mark sells for a few dollars.

I sized the plan for a 7.5" wingspan. The N.17's span was 26'9" (321 inches), so that makes it 42:1 scale, I guess.
