Folded some reasonably thick paper and glued together . Using a metal rule push the folded edge up about 1 mm . let dry. I let it dry flat and then folded it around a form. A better way would be to fold it around a suitable sized form and let it dry. Finished off with a coat of GunMetal.
The circumference of the pipe in the fuselage matched a piece of sharpened brass tube

The next picture I put up of the Ouragan I'll put something in .
