A little more progress.

Dave Tunison · June 20, 2026, 05:17:39 PM

Not the usual "Vigilante"

J Luke · June 20, 2026, 11:22:28 PM

Looking good, Lou!

Is it all glued together?

lastvautour · June 21, 2026, 10:03:11 AM

Dave - I always associated the Vigilante with the A-5

Jordan - Thank you, and yes, it is glued. Next, many antennae and various other probes.

I built the Monogram A-5 back in the 1970s. It was supposedly in 1/79th scale.

lastvautour · June 24, 2026, 08:25:46 PM

I built the Airfix 1/72 back in the day.

A bit more done. Cockpit and fuselage windows are printed and will be placed on the Vigilante tomorrow. The model is currently receiving a gloss coat to accept the decals.

That sure is a lot of "fiddly bits!" Especially that big brown antenna on the bottom!

Looking good, Lou!

lastvautour · July 01, 2026, 12:17:23 AM

That big one is the most powerfull in the world.

Took a bit of time, but it is finally done. Decals are Above and Below.
