The wings have been joined to the fuselage via brass rods with the correct dihedral angle,the cockpit aperture was pre cut before the fuselage sides were joined together with a ply membrane in the middle,this really aids sanding to fial shape as you have a permanent centreline to work to.
In the background the British Klemm Eagle receives the same treatment with the wings jigged up.
