Portsmouth Aviation Aerocar, this design was made in 1941 and was instigated by Lord Balfour who saw a future in small charter companies after WW2,although displayed at that years SBAC show at Radlett UK there were no takers for this cute twin boom twin,it was well ahead of its time and with the economic climate of Europe it failed, sadly it was scrapped after being stored in a dark hangar at Portsmouth, the company went on to re-structure its aviation inerests and Lord Balfour moved on to pastures new,we are lucky in being able to re-create these long lost slots in aviation history.
