Lou that looks like a good selection of timber,most of our pine is much more coarse grained than what you have there and is very inconsistant to work,sometimes I break up palets and pick a few select panels to keep.
I have never seen clear pine here in the UK.

Yes I left my bench very untidy as well today,is that A Piper Super Cub you are building Lou ? I have to keep an eye on your workbench as new models appear on a regular basis !

A Piper Pacer PA-20 tail dragger. I could not find drawings for the Clipper but from what I read there is not much difference.
