Some years back I was smashed up in a motor accident, so I took up woodwork (excuse my Kiwi terms) I got a lot of satisfaction in my rehabilitation. Here is some of the work.

Wow Meandog,

Very nice work! I am new to solid modeling and wood working over all. I really like the relief carvings of the sailing ships. I have always wanted to do relief carvings of Ships, aircraft and lighthouses. So far I have only attempted a couple of things.

Thank you Peter, I have been trying for sometime now to start building ships in bottles, but so far I can break away from this computer. I must make an effort. Your model looks great, do you know of the site called "Ships in Bottles" a great lot of helpful fellas on that site.

I have looked at that website its got some great stuff. Here are some of the other SIB sites I visit. There is also a SIB Yahoo group and Facebook group that are full of useful info and amazing photos. To bring this back to SSM there are a lot of plans in tha gallery theat would work well in bottles. The Seth Parker will be my first SIB from this group.
