A group build is called for the Martin Marauder.

My B-26 will be 1/72 scale.

Mine will be in 1/72 also. I will be building the G version.

Main parts are cut out.

I love this stage of building as it holds so much promise. Nive start Jordan.

Looks good Jordan.

Will try for a Marauder later in the year.

Good to see more activity on the site.

I have attached a profile of my future Marauder Mk II (B-26C) with the long wing. It has the standard RAF desert camouflage pattern in dark earth and middle stone.

The guide lines have been drawn on my fuselage and nacelles. I hope to begin carving in the next couple weeks. Other projects take precedent, at the moment!

I mentioned this in my own B-26 thread, but since it's pertinent to the group build, I'm planning on doing the nacelles like you did on your Ventura tutorial, Lou, where (to me) it was a combination of the "carrot" and "clothespin" techniques. Would it be easier to cut the triangle shape out now before rounding things off? Or cut it after it's been shaped?

Nice to see progress shots. I have not been able to dedicate any time to my Marauder.

I was able to get the upper fuselage carved and the leading edge of the wings. This is the first time I've done a symmetrical airfoil. I hope it turns out ok!

Excellent carvings. I need to structure my time to allow me to proceed with my Marauder.
