Added the undercarriag legs today, these were made as follows-

Two inverted 'U' shaped legs were made from brass tubing, the wheels were then bushed with brass tube which was placed half way then a drop of cyno and pushed home into the wheels, then a soft dressmaking pin was kinked so that it gripped inside the 'U' of the tube on one side this takes up any slop as well as making a clean bend, the wheel was placed in situ and a small v filed into the side where the soft oi axle rested,a small soldering iron was used to fix the other half to the 'U' leg.

Doing it this way means that there is o binding because you are not attempting to bend two sides which is impossible to do because the pointed pliers mean the axle would be too long as you cannot get the right gap due to the width of the pliers.

Finally a slot/channel is sunk into the lower nacelle and the undercarriage slotted into place, then it is flooded with cyno allowed to cure and the gap filled with Squadon putty.

The leg rear supports were made from strips of dolls house basswood suitably shaped, the brake calipers will be made from pin heads glued into place.
