Schweizer TG-3 training glider

Anybody know of a better plan for a TG-3A than this one? I took a crack at starting a build from this plan, but the ribbing detail was so poor that it made carving the fuselage shape accurately nearly impossible. I've found one or two stick/tissue plans but they're for monster models with 3-meter wingspans, and if you scaled them down to a manageable size (say, a 15-17 inch wingspan) many of the important stuctural components become so small they're almost impossble to cut out by hand. I was hoping someone here might know of a decent solid model plan...
