Member Guy La Casse is having trouble registering with the Gallery. On his behalf I'm uploading some photos of his.

"The Sikorsky S-38, CF-ASO by Canadian Airways Ltd. I believe the only one in Canada, 1932-34, flew between :Victoria, Vancouver BC. and Seatles Wa. The model is 1/18 scale, span is 48 inches, weight is 7 lbs. and over 150 parts: Fuselage is basswood wings is cedar and struts is different size of dowels" says Guy.

"The Fleet 50k Freighter, Fleet built only 6, CF-BJW. the model has 30 inches wingspan. also 1/18 scale."

"The Norseman, CF-OBE is 1/18 scale, span is 34 inches. This model was outside for 6 years, really got weathered..." Guy

Ask Guy,

Although he'll probably quote "wingspan" I still think "length" is more appropriate when it comes to solid scale. A topic for further group discussion.
