RCAF's 100th - 1/144 Sikorsky H-5 Dragonfly Started 1 May 22 Completed 15 Jun 22

The Dragonfly was gone by the time I joined the military in 1966. I did serve with 103 Rescue Unit in the late 1980s while H-19 served during the 1950/60 and was retired in 1965.

The Dragon fly is cut on two planes and awaits further carving. This model will be done in 103 RU yellow scheme circa early 1960s.

Here is the drawings I am using. Helicopters in 1/144 can be built with very simplified rotor hubs and still look good.
