Aircraft of the Fighting Powers

I was looking through Aircraft of the Fighting Powers Volume III last night, and ran across the Martin 166, which is the export version of the B-10 bomber.  The Dutch had a bunch at the start of WW II in SE Asia, but the Mitsubishi 00 made short work of them. 

I was surprised to learn about the 166, because I'd never even heard of it before.  It has an improbably long canopy.

Yes I have looked at this design a few times in wonder at that canopy layout ! it would make a most unusual model as it has lots of character.

The canopy was changed to improve the aerodynamics, coupled with more powerful engines over the B-10 and B-12.  The 166 was at least 15 mph faster. Remember the last AAC B-10 and B-12s were delivered in 1936, while the 166 was built all the way up till 1940.
