An afternoon well spent produce a sanded fuselage and tail plane and a rough carved main plane. Next some further sanding anc construction of the fixed undercarriage.

Brushed on grey primer.

Sanded and repainted with Rustoleum spray primer.

Hand brushed Tamiya flat aluminum. I removed 1/2 of the clear suspension fluid making the paint thicker and easier to apply with a brush. Since the background was dark grey. it required two coats with the last one being very close to a dry brushing.

Great result on silver finish.

Looking forward to the finished model.

Thank you Gordon. I like silver finishes but dread the process. Tamiya has made it easier to apply.
