New entry:  A DH-5 in 64 Squadron RFC markings. Yes, it"s true:  I've got a "thing" for those idiosyncratic British types!

1/48 scale. Conventional build of basswood, bamboo struts and mahogany prop. Rubber O-rings for tires. Painters tape strips for wing and fuselage ribbing. Home-made decals and store-bought dry-transfer numerals. Painted 7X-monofilament leader tippet for rigging. Plastic, adhesive-backed shelf paper cut with a pair of pinking shears to simulate the lacing.

Nicely done model. The external aileron balance cable seems unique. I wonder what effect it had on the controls with it thrumming away interacting with the airflow over the upper wing surface?

Nicely done. The stitching is very realistic. Although the rigging looks complicated, you pulled it off magnificently.
