Pushing on with the BAT.
Something different in 1/48 has managed to get to the marked up ready to cut out stage.
Stay Well All.

I'm dragging my feet a bit on my B-26, mostly because it's my only model without a deadline right now.
My Mustang is about ready for paint (trying Ken's suggestion of layers of primer sanded with 600 grit before paint). I'm debating whether I spray the silver first, then do the colors, or vice versa.
My Wildcat is primed. I'll probably sand it one more time.
I've got stands made for both the Mustang and Wildcat, I just need to stain them and coat them.
I'm itching to cut out some more models, though. I'd like to do a bubbletop P-47 for a friend (and maybe do one for me at the same time) as well as a C-47 in full D-Day livery. This year marks the 90th anniversary of the DC-3, so I thought it would be fun to at least start one.
1/72 My Marauder is stalled at the sanding stage.
1/87 The H-19 Chickasaw is still in block form.
I did manage to finish some plastic kits this year as part of Operation Vet Build, which helps veterans learn to make models or seek camaraderie. We meet every Sunday afternoon, alternating between two locations.
1/48 Italeri McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II Luftwalle
1/48 Monogran 1/48 North Americam Mustang III RCAF
1/72 Revell Fokker Eindecker E.III Luftstreitkräfte
My train layout is getting there.

I'd love to see pictures of your Marauder, Lou.
That veterans program sounds great.
Working on the Monogram Missouri. Substituted basswood for the original balsa and print wood, transferring the plans and print wood images to billets, blocks and sheets with acetone. Decided to convert the hull to a waterline model. Got the hull, superstructure and gun turrets built, assembled and primed. Ordered a few aftermarket accessories to help dress it up, and am waiting for them to arrive in the mail.Decided to paint it in the Measure 32-desidn D-22 dazzle paint scheme which she wore when first commissioned. That could take a while...!
