A rescue helicopter for my HO train layout.

Great start! I look forward to more projects.
Some progress.
Louis
Nice. Looking forward to it.
Thank you Ken
In the paint booth for some primer. The rotor has been started. Not shown is the tail rotor.
Louis
Very nice, Lou. Do you put a twist in your rotors like you do your props, or just tilt each of them?
Thank you Jordan. I just induced a droop. At rest, Rotor blades have no twist but rotate to attain positive angles for flight.
Louis
In the paint booth.
Louis
Good to see you are back in the groove.
Gordon
Thank you, I am slowly getting there.
Louis
Blue is curing.
Louis
Excellent! I love your creative use of clothespins to make a stand. That's great!
The blue is taking longer to cure. It may take a few days.

Decals printed. White discs are hole-punched for the background to the roundels, as cutting out roundels that size when printed on white film is problematic.
Louis
Great solution, Lou. I have a couple questions:
Is the thin white stripe painted or is it a decal?
How do you go about creating the decals for windows to ensure you get the correct geometry around the curves and things?
The white line is decal film. I cut about 2 feet to get the 8 inches I needed. Thin strips do not handle well.
The glass parts are trial and error; luckily, I had already done the hard work for my 1/144 H-19.
Louis
A fairly quick build. Done and on my layout.
Louis
That looks great! I love the background, too. Very realistic presentation.
Excellent
Thank you Jordan and Ken.

Lou: You are a master of many talents. Not only do you work on model airplanes and ships. We now learn you are also a model railway buff. The Sikorsky looks great!!
The model railroad bug is barely 6 months old. I was taken to a local club and got the bug. It is satisfying as well.
Louis
Agree with everyone else.
You are a master.
Well Done
Gordon
Thank you Gordon.
