Something new I started this morning and spent a couple of hours, researching, printing, and carving to block shape. Should I donate my RCAF aircraft to the museum, I will need replacements for my collection. The 1/100 scale is a bit bigger than 1/144 but will free up more space for the previous 1/72 and bigger scale models.

A bit of carving and a bit of sanding!
Lou
The wing filets are oversized and will be sanded to their proper shape.

Another 1/2 hour of filling and sanding. Priming took two minutes and a couple of hours of drying time. I have since added gun blisters to make a Mk V as the Above and Below decals do not have a Canadian Mk II. Next will be the coolers and carb scoop.
Lou
The decals are on order.
Lou
Hand size magic. Well Done Lou!
Gordon
Thank you Gordon.
Lou
Either my model is too small or the decals are too big. Regardless, there is a mismatch and it will remain.
Lou
A nice little model Lou.
Gordon
Thank you Gordon. If memory serves me well, you did a 200ish HE-100 in the last century.
Lou
I don't remember that one. Might have been someone else.
On the subject of roundels. IIRC There is a photo around of an early model Spitfire with large wing roundels.
Cheers
Gordon
I stand corrected. It was Garet and it was a HE-113.
