Now we know what those rigging tools are for. Also, I didn't realize how rough the original balsa was until seeing the "before & after" shots. It looked like a sponge.

Thanks Gents, A sponge would be a good description or perhaps cork. I will admit to deciding to toss it out a few time, but I thought it would be a good restoration experiment.
