5. Finished Heinkel He-113, 1/288 scale
I finished the decals and took a photo. Then I had some fun with a photo editor.  I subtracted the stand and added a spinning prop.  At 1/288 scale, the wingspan is only 1.25 inches (32 mm).

I printed the "8" and lightning bolt on white decal paper, with a dark green background printed around it.  After the decal dried, I painted over the edge with green paint to blend in better.

Total time to build was 7 hours, plus one hour preparing the decals.
