Familiar? yup, many of the model co.s were contracted to produce these kits. The boys at Comet designed them so not surprisingly, they were the first to use them, but I've seen the plans produced by many other firms. I also have an original U.K "Cloudcraft" kit of a Grumman Skyrocket (complete with British markings though I prefer the fictitional Blackhawk scheme Smile) where the border araound the plan is a collage of the Navy step-by-step Procedure chart.
