Grumman Widgeon

3/8" = 1' scale ("1/32 scale") solid model. Made from clear aspen (fuselage and wings) and basswood (tail, nacelles and floats). Wood sealed with fiberglass resin. Panel lines scribed with a hot knife. Cabin area made from clear casting resin. Painted using Testors and Floquil enamal model paints. Numbers on wings were made using frisket film masks. Small markings are homemade decals using an ink jet printer. Model is based on Paul Matt drawings which appeared in a 1967 issue of American Modeler magazine.
