Piper Comanche Top Left

1/32 Piper Comanche. The stand was made from pine base and bent piece of aluminum. Control surface outlines on wings and tail are made from 3M pinstriping tape available in automotive supply stores. The tape was first applied to a piece of glass and cut into thin strips using a straight edge and fresh single edge razor blade. The strips are then applied to the model. Several coats of future floor polish were then applied to the model to seal the tape. Windshield/windows are painted on using Testors steel enamel. Propeller disk is clear plastic.
