Fokker D7 assembly

Using the 'Lost jig & Pin' system for rigging the wings,the jig is torn down from the structure after all of the struts are in place,the centre pin just visible in the shot locates the wing at exactly the right height and this too is removed,the system is useful for intricate assemblies on biplanes or when engine nacelles need placing between wings via struts etc.
The wing jigs sets the correct stagger/incidence and decalarge all in one go,just trace the jig from the side view and transfer it to wood or card for slipping over the wings.
