Boeing PT-17 Stearman Kaydet
|
A relic from yesteryear,my father built this model when serving in the US Army Air Corps in Florida in 1941,it was made from firewood for the fuselage and wings with a discarded toothbrush handle to fashion the undercarriage from,it has survived the rigours of thousands of miles of travelling by land, sea and air, although cracking badly I keep it in its original dope that came from the paint shop at Lackland air force base.
