Colonel Lindberghs Miles Mohawk

Here you can see the hand carved propellers and distinctive wing fillets have been added to the Miles Mohawk models,the fillets were made from DAS modelling clay and the spinners are FIMO oven cure artiss modelling material,two excellent model building standby products to make those difficult to form parts.
One wartime publication even mentions the use of chewing gum to make the fillets,and why not ?
