These are from plates that were sold as sets by Harleyford Publications Ltd. The plates were taken from the series; “Aircraft of the fighting Powers†published each year, as a separate volume, during WW2. Most were published with two drawings back to back.
RAF's last biplane. One squadron still used it in the Battle of Britain. The Finns used effectively against the Soviets, whilst fame arrived with the defence of Malta.
