Roger's Hellcat
After the soldering of the shaft, the excess metal between the blades was removed with a hack saw. Care was taken to stay outside the scribed prop blade profiles which were incised exactly 120 degrees apart. Though the assembly is quite robust, extreme care must be exercised as the thickness of the hub area is reduced to proper portions. Further, when using a power grinder to do rough finishing heat build up must be avoided which would compromise the soldered joint.
