Mystery Mosquito and Vampire I picked up these two form the junkers pile at the model club as well. I've put them on here in case anyone can identify. They are much too heavy for injection kits, but seem to be solid plastic - grey for the Mossie and salmon-pink in the case of the Vampire. The vampire has a working plastic front u/c but a solid cockpit whereas the Mosquito has a scratchbuilt cockpit and metal(?) pilot similar to the balsa B-25 I also picked up.

Owner Comment::As they appear to be plastic I will delete if anyone feels they're inappropriate to SMM. The Vampire is definitely Frog Penguin, the plastic colour is the give-away.

Will the Mosquito is 'first issue' Airfix and made of a heavy plastic,also moulds used by 'Plasty' in Germany,the Vampire looks like a Frog Penguin post war offering,if it is then I would say this is rare,they used a strange plastic for the later issues,interesting finds you lucky man.

Please do not delete as these are very much part of the solid to plastic transition historical period,I think we can tolerate them under these circumstances,they are part of our modelling social history,thank you.
