Cessna 310 and Sanding tools
|
Cessna model with some sanding tools I use. Left= sandpaper backed with duct tape (sand things using shoe-shine motion, the tape keeps the sandpaper from tearing). Right= sanding pads store bought & homemade used for wet sanding. Bottom— Store bought sanding sticks on left. Homemade sanding sticks next – made from flat material covered with mounting tape then sandpaper applied (mounting tape approximates the foam material found in commercial sanding sticks). Homemade bow sander- reinforced sandpaper stapled around wire clips; fits in coping saw frame. Lower right corner: Jumbo sanding stick made from adhesive backed sanding disk, very useful for shaping-- apply coarse grit on one side, fine grit on the other.
