Beechcraft D55 Baron. Scale: 3/8" = 1' (1/32 Size) Construction Details:
Wing and nacelle attachment points reinforced by bamboo skewer pegs. Tail parts fit into slots cut in fuselage. All pieces were first tacked in place using cyanoacralate cement ("Super Glue"). Gaps were then packed with fine sawdust from around the work bench and excess blown clear; sawdust was then soaked with super glue. The glue drys almost instantly when it soaks in, sealing the gaps and welding the parts in place. The joins were smoothed further using latex based wood filler.
Beechraft logo on tail is homemade water-slide decal made using an Alps printer with Micro-Mark decal paper; Beechcraft logo is from the Internet. N number was masked using frisket film-- number was printed directly on the film using an inkjet printer, numbers were cut out and applied to white painted model.Walkway on wing is from black painted tissue paper applied using glue stick adhesive. Stand is from scrap pine. Label made in MS word and printed on photo paper using inkjet printer; attached using double sided tape and sealed with Future polish.
