1940 TWA Stratoliner Restoration

Windows were painted. Depth of color on decals was inadequate on the bright silver model, so all were doubled up. Model received yet another coat of clear gloss Deft over the decals. The restoration differs in some small details from the Smithsonian model, but all models in the original series probably differed to some degree from each other as each was hand built and hand painted.
