The weather outside precluded any sanding work so worked the day through adding the hand painted details to the Percival Proctor 5,the markings are for an example that was used by the British Air Attache in America, the red cheat line really setting things off, silver as my usual choice was Ford Moondust silver which gives a real aeroplane fabric and wood feel, remember when you use silver to throw it on and just allow it to puddle and settle as the aluminium leaf in the carrier varnish lie flat.
Cockpit is per Dinky Toy aeroplane technique used by the Meccano factory and a mixture of Cerulean blue and plenty of silver, detail painting is done with Citadel Warhammer paint which is ideal for painting on markings etc and buy decent brushes from the art shop.
Lou you can add this to the album for 2013.
