This is the only Skybirds kit that I own,it cost me £7 in 1960,my word thats over 50 years ago ! the main wood parts are spindled roughlyto shape,the tail surfaces are made from red fibre sheet,the engine cowling,propeller and other accessories are made from lead,the struts are pressed tinplate,as you can see its a blueprint type drawing and a late wartime Skybird.
