The Harvard MK IV is one of my favourite aircraft. I had to read up about the Swoose Goose....never heard of it before. Wikipedia has some interesting information on the prototypes. Thanks for the interesting models.

Another project from John. The Whitehead Comet is a little know aircraft and the only one built by Whitehead Limited (1915-1919)

Interesting. The vertical fin and rudder have an early deHaviland look.

To:Gearup,
             You are correct!

     The original photo. was from my father"s album RAF/RFC {i916-1918}
See ZumaAir for model of  aircraft he flew in those years.
      Whitehead was my mother's maiden name.  If there was ever a connection
I never heard.  My father never talked of those years.Of course,I never asked!
       Are you still in B.C.?
I went to school in North Vancouver,emigrated to the USA in 1949, eventually
ended up in Malibu,lost our home of  40 years in the November 2018 fire and
moved to Keller,Texas in January.
    Great to hear from a fellow Canadian,in the heart anyways!
                         Carry on!

Yup, in the lower mainland. Things have probably changed a bit here since the '50s 😜 but the black bears still visit houses on the north shore, so that is still same.

Here is John's last email.

Here is my contribution to the early jets cook-up:  Saab 21r developed from the Saab piston model.

It was relatively easy to carve using various Exacto blades, sandpaper, Testers brush enamel, and xeroxed decals.  I didn't have success with decal paper and the computer! The kitchen table is still my workshop.
