Olli, what is the thickness of the paper (or card stock) used on your ship models?

Olli

All my models i build with this
Sorry for my english

I've printed and built a lot of card models. I usually print them on 60lb cardstock from Office Depot. Anything thinner is to flimsy.

A good source for cheap aircraft card models is www.fiddlersgreen.net I'm thinking of using them as templates for solids. After I finish the Spitfire!

Thanks Olli and Peter, I would not know how to find 160gr paper here in the USA. Here it is usually measured by "mil" or "lb" and not by metric. I want to try one of Olli's boat models.

Peter

Just go to Staples,  Office Depot,or similar stationary store. Ask for 60 pound card stock. You can also get 120 pound but for me its to thick.

I have worked with 90lb paper and would think that would be sufficient. I have done a Sopwith Camel using just printer paper and it is rather flimsy.
