Title: New solid model company?
Post by: Peter on January 13, 2016, 04:02:06 AM
I was in my local hobby shop yesterday and found this Canadian model company called http://www.osbornmodelkits.com/index.htm they make laser cut silhouette models of aircraft that are quite inexpensive. Looking at their website in their HO and N scale section they have a few models that look like solid wood civilian aircraft. Has anybody tried them?

Peter

P.S. Maybe we should invite them to join our community?

After looking at this companies offerings, they may be useful to interest young people in creating aircraft. There is no carving necessary as far as I can see, perhaps some sanding, painting etc....Pete
