It is with much regret that I feel it an obligation to inform Solid Model Memories that our member Tom Foster (Granpatom) has died in Winnipeg at the Health Sciences Center yesterday July 8, 2012.
While Tom had not recently partook in Group activities to a great extent he had in the past contributed by submitting colour reproductions of aircraft for the benefit of modellers. He was also an avid aviation enthusiast being a longtime volunteer with the Western Canada Aviation Museum. His volunteer work with this institution resulted in his attainment of life membership.
