The de havilland Hornet to 1=200th scale really is a tiny model, see 5p piece for comparison.

Started the wing today.

Delightful Hornet.  What is the diameter of a five pence piece?

The de havilland Hornet so far has proved to be the most challenging of the tiny models, here you can see it with the fuselage mated to the wings and the still in block stages engine nacelles in place,in the background is big brother Meteor T.7 to 1=27th scale which is still receiving attention prior to its final finish, there is a lot on the go at the moment but eventually things all pull together at the right time.

The tiny Hornet was worked up into its final form adding spinners and fairing in underneath the fuselage to wing joint.
