Thanks Garet, I'll keep my eye open for some non knotty pine. I know Sugar Pine is good for carving but it's  as pricey as Bass wood up here. Have a Merry Christmas!

The tape is just old cheap green masking tape.

That's it, Lou. You've got it. But I notice that you've painted the black deicer boots first. Are you planning to paint the rest of the aircraft a lighter colour later and what colour will it be?

The United Nation's aircraft have always been white for quite a long time. I don't recall seeing them in any other scheme.
