Felt it was time to enlarge the flotilla with a T-2A Tanker. Even at 1/350 scale, the model is 17 inches long. Drawings were secured from http://www.themodelshipwright.com/

Looks promising!
I have a special love for boats as a fishing trawler was the fist solid model I ever made in the not so distant past!

Lots of glue ensures a good bond between parts.

My T2 has been sitting idle far too long. I have reworked the bow and I am making the mid ship bridge decks.

So are those full size or spit tooth picks?

They are bamboo dowels taken from a dollar store place mat. It measures approx 1 mm.

The T2 Tanker is back on the bench after almost two year hiatus.  Valves are being installed and work will proceed on the upper structure.

Railings have been started to be installed.

The railings do add a lot to ship models. Nice job.
