Nacelles have been reworked and propellers manufactured using individual blade glued to the spinner.(photo to follow) The wing filets are in production and the second attempt will be done this weekend.

If i may ask, have you a spare copy of the plans for this great looking plane that you could scan and place in the gallery?
if i did a bit of digging around i could probably find something usable but I'm just being my usual lazy self! ;D
thanks, Biggles

I am unable to post the drawings as I don't know the copyright issue with them. We must take care not to infringe on copyrights in our gallery.  Regardless here are some sites for you to check out.

Good top and side view.  http://crimso.msk.ru/Site/Crafts/Craft21863.htm and http://crimso.msk.ru/Site/Crafts/Craft31146.htm

Really good drawings but needs to be downloaded and cut and paste together. Scroll down a bit to find them.

Progress report. Filets have been sanded touched up and sanded again. Primer has been applied to the top area.

Undercarriage parts are in rough form for now. Final sanding and adjustments to the struts will be done once the primer is dried(2nd photo) on the bottom wing filets.

The strips represent the propeller blade cluff nicely,a feature of these propellers.

Undercarriage is fitted and doors are glued in place. The undercarriage can be removed pending painting and decals.

I briefly contemplated drill out the nacelles to place lead weights to balance but elected just to use a straight pin like the remaining models in the 1/144 collection. The Bonnie is the same scale. I assume the USN landed C-131 on their carriers.

I think this must be the first ever carrier landing ever of a CV131,you sure have some skilled pilots Lou ! is it RATOG for the take off ?
Barry.

The white top has been applied. I will wait a few days before doing the remainder of the fuselage.
