This P-51 was done during two sessions at the flea market where the misses set up to sell Afghans.

The second session was contour carving and sanding.

Nice shaping Lou, that's not another bloodstain is it?.Best regards Paul J.

I like to pour myself into my work, fortunately it was just a nick from a sharp blade tip.

Nice work Lou, is that a Fokker Dr1 template I see to the right?

Krylon brilliant silver metallic to be followed by clear coat once decals have been applied. I selected the Royal Australian Air Force with the rarely seen kangaroo roundels. The Mustang were on their way out when the new roundels were coming in.

The RAAF version had Kangaroo roundels that were applied as the Mustang was being phased out of service, hence you will not find many photos of the P-51 in this scheme.
