Title: 1/72 Yak-4 ...............................................(Completed 2 May 2017)
Post by: lastvautour on April 01, 2017, 09:03:08 PM
Latest project is a Yak-4. The gallery drawings are being used as a basis except for the nacelles that require some additional shaping not seen in the plans.

A bit of sanding, a bit of cutting.

Major components mated together. Exhaust, trailing edge fillets and a bit of putty should tidy things up.

Progress shot with grey primer. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend and I can spray in my unheated shed.

Roll out 2 May 2017. Paint is my mix of Tamiya and DecoArt paints. Decals are home made except from the "3" which came from the spares box. I also added a comparison shot with the PE-2
