Balsa Foam?

I stumbled across this sculpting material called Balsa Foam. They claim it carves like butter and paints like wood. They have two different densities. I was thinking is might be good for carving tricky little bits and you wouldn't have to worry about grain or splitting.

Sounds like an easy materiel to shape. The only problem may be damage to larger pieces of a model. I would like to try it anyway. Thanks for the link.
