The Lisa Hy-Bird is nearly complete. I made decals for it this weekend and applied them. I've penned in the control surface markings on the top of the wing, and need to finish them on the bottom. I don't have any data on gear doors, so I will not outline them.
Here is a photo of the model before I painted the canopy, with a test print of the decals temporarily tacked in place:

This is the first time I've printed decals on my new Epson printer (CX8400). Unfortunately, the left edge of the straight line of the solar panels seemed to be a bit ragged. This was in the part that I cut off, so it worked out okay, but it disturbed me. I realized later I could have minimized the problem by rotating the image 90 degrees before printing. I don't remember having this issue with the old printer (Epson 777i). Also, printing on paper has a razor sharp edge, so perhaps the problem is something to do with pasting bits of the decal paper onto a carrier sheet. In the end, the decals were fine; it's just something I have to watch out for.
I'll post a photo when the model is complete.

The Lisa Hy-Bird is complete! Total time to build was 10.25 hours. Making the decals took an extra 1 hour (I did the outlines as part of the construction drawings, the hour for the decals included coloring, printing, and sealing the decal film). I also had to make the drawings for the model construction based on computer images from the manufacturer, but I didn't log the time for that. I was evaluating several CAD programs at the time, so there was a learning curve on the drawing.

Very nice model Garet as usual. That is a penny right? I'd be lucky to be able to see the penny let alone build the model.
Cliff.
Great job Garet. Francly speaking, this is 1/72 scale??
Thank you for the nice comments. The coin is a French Franc (pre-Euro), which is about the size of a quarter dollar, so it's a little bigger than you may have thought, Cliff. The length is only 3-1/4 inches, but the wingspan is 10 inches. The model is 1/80 scale due to some mistranslation and units conversion issues between me and the plane's manufacturer. I had intended for it to be 1/72 scale.

That's a cool ship Garet,
