The Royal Canadian Air Force received 32 Nomads that had been part of a French order of 93 aircraft. When France fell in 1940, Great Britain took this order and transferred 32 of the aircraft to Canada, where they were used as advanced trainers and target tugs as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.[22][23] These were serialized 3490 to 3521; all were assigned to No. 3 Training Command RCAF.
And so another project begins. The decals were printed on 28 May 23.

The A-17 is slowly progressing while seven other models fill my hobby time. The model is assembled and awaits final sanding before priming.

Thank you Gordon.

Another nice model. The black stripes really do make the aircraft visible and break up the aircraft lines. I would assume this is for a target tug?
Thank you Fraser and yes it was a target tow. Many went to training navs and radio ops.
