Despite my saying no new projects until the bench is clear, alas an AirToon F-106. My first attempt is on the right.

Great start Lou,(on the left) regards Paul J.
Thank you Paul. Not to your outstanding level, but acceptable for my collection.
Lou
Project #20 completed. This rounds out the Convair line of Century Series AirToons.
Lou
Looks great Lou, nice work with the decals, regards Paul J.
Thank you Paul.
Lou
I like the Century collection you built up. They look excellent.
Thank you Dave. Do you still have your F-100?
Lou
I gave it to a friend (along with the B-17), but would like to make another one eventually.
I am contemplating doing an F-100F.
Lou
I know what you mean about starting more projects!
I promised myself not to start a new project until my bench was clear.
Lou
Another great model Lou.
Seeing what you and Paul have achieved with the "Toons" I will try one down the track a bit.
Cheers
Gordon
I consider Paul to be the Master AirTooner.
Lou
I agree with you on that Lou.

I find the toon models interesting. You really make it look "probable" by providing a diorama to photograph your models in.
Fraser
Thank you Fraser. You should give one a try. Here are some nice images for you to look at. https://www.flickr.com/photos/31186322@N06/albums/72157620520651425

Wow! I had no idea that there was such a variety of toons out there. I actually find it funny that the helicopters don't seem to change much......

I have the 444 CS Sqn Twin Huey AirToon tuck away in the back of my mind. They currently fly the Griffin but had the CH-135 when I was posted there 90-93. The attached photo is the 1/24 Twin Huey I made while posted there.
Lou
Had another closer look at the link. Mmmmmm. Lots of inspiration.
Definitely one a bit further down the track.
Cheers
Gordon
I hope you do Gordon.
